How do I start a takeaway (quick) order?
On the order screen tap the Quick tab in the action bar. Add items from the menu — they appear in the cart — then tap CHECKOUT to take payment.

How do I start a dine-in order for a table?
Tap the Table tab (or open the Tables screen) and tap an empty table to start its order. Add items, then tap PLACE ORDER to send to the kitchen, or FINISH to settle the bill.

How do I take a delivery order?
Tap the Delivery tab, add the customer's items, capture delivery/customer details, and proceed to checkout. Delivery orders can carry a delivery charge and a delivery time.
- Tap the Delivery tab.
- Add items to the cart.
- Enter customer and delivery details.
- Proceed to CHECKOUT.

What do the table colours mean?
Table colours show status at a glance: an available/inactive table, an active table with a running order, and a table whose bill has been printed each appear differently. Tables with pending online/captain items are highlighted so staff can accept them.

Can I hold a takeaway order and convert it to a table?
Yes. While building a takeaway order with items in the cart, tap HOLD next to Checkout. The order is parked against a sitting/table so you can recall and finish it later.
- Add items to a takeaway order.
- Tap HOLD (shown beside the Checkout button).
- Recall it later from the Tables / sittings screen to finish.

HOLD appears only for restaurant business types with sitting enabled and items in the cart.

Can I run several takeaway orders at the same time?
Yes. Multi-order mode lets you keep more than one takeaway cart open at once (each shown with its own colour), so you can serve multiple walk-in customers in parallel and check them out separately.
- Use multi-order mode for takeaway.
- Switch between the open carts using the order selectors.
- Check out each order independently.

What is Quick Mode?
Quick Mode speeds up takeaway billing by pre-selecting a payment mode and streamlining checkout, so high-volume counters can complete orders in fewer taps.

How do I change, merge, or split a table?
From an active table's options you can Change Table (move the order to another table), Merge Table (combine two tables' orders), or Split (separate items/bill). A KOT is reprinted for transfers so the kitchen stays in sync.
- Open the active table's options (more menu).
- Choose Change Table, Merge Table, or Split.
- Confirm the target table / split.

How do I accept an online / Capto dine-in order?
When a customer places a dine-in order from the online/Capto app, the table shows pending items and an Accept Items action. Tap it to review the pending items and accept them — they are then sent to the kitchen.
- Find the table highlighted with pending items.
- Tap Accept Items (or the Customer Request / pending indicator).
- Review the items and accept — they go to the kitchen.

How do I see customer/waiter call requests?
When a customer calls for service, RoyalPOS records it. Tap the Customer Request (bell) icon on the tables/order screen to see recent requests, newest first, and mark them seen or hide them.
- Tap the Customer Request (bell) icon.
- Review recent requests (last couple of hours).
- Mark each as seen or hide it.
