Reports (Dashboard)

Viewing and exporting business reports in the RoyalPOS admin dashboard: sales, item/price, balance, bank deposits, cash in/out, date-wise and outlet-wise summaries, taxes, and delivery orders.

What reports are available in the dashboard?

The dashboard provides reports including sales reports, item & item-price reports, balance report, bank deposits, cash in/out, date-wise summary, outlet-wise sales/collection/summary, month-wise sales, taxes report, and delivery orders. Most can be filtered by date and exported.

  1. Open the Reports section from the menu.
  2. Pick the report you need.
  3. Set the date range and view/export.

How do I filter a report by date?

Each report has date filters at the top. Choose the start and end dates (or a preset period) and the report refreshes for that range.

  1. Open a report.
  2. Set the start and end date.
  3. The report updates for that period.

How do I see sales reports?

Open the Sales Report for total sales, order counts, and the payment-mode breakdown over the selected period. Use it for daily/periodic business review and reconciliation.

  1. Reports → Sales Report.
  2. Set the date range.
  3. Review totals and payment breakdown; export if needed.

How do I see item and item-price reports?

The Item / Item-Price reports show quantities sold and amounts per item, helping you spot best-sellers and review pricing performance over the period.

  1. Reports → Item / Item-Price report.
  2. Set the date range.
  3. Review per-item quantities and amounts.

Where do I see balance, bank deposits and cash in/out?

The Balance, Bank Deposits, and Cash In/Out reports show the day's cash position — opening balance, deposits to the bank, and cash movements — for reconciliation.

  1. Reports → Balance / Bank Deposits / Cash In-Out.
  2. Set the date range.
  3. Review the cash figures.

How do I compare sales across outlets?

The outlet-wise reports (outlet sales, collection, summary) and month-wise sales let you compare performance across outlets and over months — useful for multi-outlet businesses.

  1. Reports → outlet-wise / month-wise report.
  2. Set the date range.
  3. Compare outlets/months.

How do I see a taxes report?

The Taxes Report shows tax collected over the period, broken down by tax, to help with tax filing and compliance.

  1. Reports → Taxes Report.
  2. Set the date range.
  3. Review tax collected by component; export if needed.

Where do I see delivery orders?

The Delivery Orders report lists delivery orders for the period so you can track and review them.

  1. Reports → Delivery Orders.
  2. Set the date range.
  3. Review the delivery orders.

How do I export or email a report?

Most reports can be exported (e.g. to a file) or emailed from the report screen. Use the export/email action after setting your date range.

  1. Open the report and set the date range.
  2. Use the export or email action.
  3. Download or send the report.
