Adding and editing items, item prices and barcodes, item images/albums and tags, and uploading or updating many items at once via CSV in the RoyalPOS admin dashboard.
Open Items and add a new item: enter its name, assign a category and tax, set the price(s), and add a barcode/product code and image if needed. Save and the item becomes available on the POS after sync.

Open the item from the Items list to change its name, category, tax, price, barcode, image, or availability. Save and re-sync the POS to apply the change.

An item can have more than one price — for example a base price and an 'other'/online price. Set each price on the item so the POS applies the right one by order type, and the online menu uses the online price.

On the item, enter its barcode/product code so it can be scanned at the POS. An item can hold more than one code (comma-separated) when the same product has multiple barcodes.

Yes. The dashboard includes a barcode-print option to generate barcode labels for items, which you can print on a label printer.

Use the item image / album feature to upload pictures for items so the menu shows photos. Images you upload are used in the app and online menu.

Item tags let you label items (for example 'bestseller', 'spicy') for grouping and filtering. Assign tags to items from the item tag feature.

Use the Bulk Upload / Import option to add many items at once from a CSV/Excel file. Download the template, fill it with your items, upload it, and the items are created in bulk.

Use Bulk Update to change many items together — for example updating prices across items — by editing and re-uploading the data, instead of editing each item one by one.

There are separate bulk-upload options for the other/online price lists, so you can set those prices for many items at once via a file upload.
