The latest RoyalPOS app (V2) is the recommended version for new installs and for use with the Captain app. Install it from Google Play, or use the direct APK if you can't use the Play Store. Steps: Open the Play Store link below on the device, or download the direct APK. Install the app. Log in to your outlet. Note: Recommended version. Use this if you want to connect the Captain app.

Where do I download the older RoyalPOS Android app?

The older RoyalPOS Android app is still widely used by existing outlets. It works for billing, but it is not recommended if you want to use the Captain app — use the latest RoyalPOS V2 for that. Install from Google Play or the direct APK. Steps: Open the Play Store link below, or download the direct APK. Install and log in. Note: Most outlets currently use this version, but it is NOT recommended for use with the Captain app — switch to RoyalPOS V2 for captain support.

The recommended Captain app (V2) connects with RoyalPOS V2 (Android), Windows, and iOS. Install it on the captain's handheld — Android from Google Play or iPhone/iPad from the App Store — then connect it to the POS over the same network. Steps: Install the Captain V2 app on the handheld (Android or iOS link below). Open it on the same WiFi/LAN as the POS. Enter the POS IP/port (or search) to connect. Start taking table orders. Note: Works with RoyalPOS V2 (Android), Windows and iOS. Recommended over the older captain app.

There is an older Captain app that pairs with the older RoyalPOS Android app. It is still available, but using RoyalPOS V2 with the Captain V2 app is recommended.
